Day 10 - October 3 (Monday)
We woke up in Meadow at Dusty's house. He let us borrow his four mules that he uses to pull his wagons so ours could rest another day. We left four of our horses at his house when we left. We traveled past the hay and corn fields and made it to Kanosh. Leon visited with Dean Perkins, Marlene Iverson's brother (Cozette's aunt). He is a teamster also. We traveld towards the Interstate and made camp along the frontage road. Notice the lone yellow flower growing out of the gravel. Something beautiful in the middle of nowhere.
