Day 7 - September 30 (Friday)
We arrived in Scipio and were able to stay at the Rodeo Grounds. It was very accomodating and nice. There is a playground adjacent to the grounds, hot running water, kitchen, bathrooms with flushing toilets and room for all of our vehicles, trailers and wagons. We are resting the horses here and will probably stay a few days. Kasey, who is in charge of the grounds, told us that during one storm last year, they got 32 inches of snow. It is a charming and adorable town. It reminds me of how LaVerkin used to be. Leon's parents, DeMar & Helen Gubler, joined the group and spent the night.
